Weekly Construction Update io Up   Mar 14-19th 2016       Lower East Side Residents: To keep you informed of the construction activities at Essex Crossing, we will provide weekly site by site updates.  For more info regarding this work, please contact info@essexcrossingnyc.com. To opt out of these emails, please click unsubscribe on the link at the bottom of this email.           Site 1 (242 Broome Street)   This week Site 1 will placing the concrete mud slab. The concrete trucks and concrete pump will be located within the site. Drilling will begin for the sleeve for the elevator piston. The drill rig will also be located within the site gate. Flag persons will be positioned at the gate to direct pedestrian & vehicular traffic. Noise and dust control will be standard daily operations. No after-hours work in anticipated.    Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)   Site 2 will continue excavation and support of excavation at the cellar and sub-cellar level. Sub-cellar and cellar concrete pile cap installation will continue this week. Both of these activities will continue on Saturday, March 19th between the hours of 9am-5pm.   Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)   Foundation and superstructure work continues at Site 5. Underground plumbing installations, with subsequent inspections, continue along with concrete installations. Concrete pours are anticipated to take place on Monday, March 14th and Thursday, March 17th in the early morning hours.     Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)   The coming week's activity at Site 6 includes pouring concrete for the foundation on the west & south sides (Clinton & Delancey) and installing rebar and formwork for the east side foundation and interior columns. Flaggers will direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic as needed along Ludlow and Broome. No after-hours work is anticipated.    Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)   Site 2 will continue excavation and support of excavation at the cellar and sub-cellar level. Sub-cellar concrete pile cap installation will continue this week. Both of these activities will continue on Saturday, March 12th between the hours of 9am-5pm.   Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)   Foundation and superstructure work continues at Site 5. To opt out of these emails, please click unsubscribe on the link at the bottom of this email.           Site 1 (242 Broome Street)   Site 1 will be grading and exporting soil in preparation for mud slab installation, which is anticipated to be placed on or about Thursday, March 3rd. Concrete trucks will enter site at the corner of Broome and Ludlow. Flaggers will be directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic along Ludlow and Broome. No after-hours work is expected at this time.    Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)   Site 2 will continue excavation and support of the cellar and sub-cellar. Sub-cellar concrete pile cap installation will begin this week. Excavation and support of the cellar and sub-cellar levels will continue on Saturday, March 5th between the hours of 9am-5pm.   Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)   Foundation and superstructure work continues at Site 5.
