Sip and Paint!

Greetings LoMA Families!!

The Student Council would like to invite you to our SIP & PAINT, tomorrow Thursday May 9th at 4:00pm at LoMA!

Adults -$7.00

Students- $5.00

We will provide painting supplies, and refreshments and snacks will be available!

Please come to the 3rd floor and the student council will greet you and escort you to the paint rooms!

Dear LoMA Community,

 

I want to thank you all—students, staff, and families—for giving me the opportunity to serve as your interim acting principal this school year. I know that this has been a year of change and challenge. A beautiful thing about change and challenge is the opportunity for newness and growth. I want to thank you for letting me in, for letting me have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside you, and from you. I also want to communicate that at the end of this school year, I will be stepping down as the principal, and moving on. I will bring the lessons learned here with me, and will remember you always.

Querida comunidad de LoMA,

Quiero agradecerles a todos, estudiantes, personal y familias, por darme la oportunidad de servir como su director interino este año escolar. Sé que este ha sido un año de cambios y desafíos. Una cosa hermosa sobre el cambio y el desafío es la oportunidad de novedad y crecimiento. Quiero agradecerte por dejarme entrar, por permitirme tener la oportunidad de aprender y crecer junto a ti y de ti. También quiero comunicar que al final de este año escolar, me iré como director y seguiré adelante. Traeré las lecciones aprendidas aquí conmigo, y te recordaré siempre.

Hello LoMA Family!!!

 

Please join us on April 16th from 5:00- 7:00pm at The Whitney Museum of American Art for our annual Friends and Family Night at the Whitney!

 

Dance and Drama majors will be performing from 5:00-5:45pm

Galleries will be open (to only us) from 5:45 - 6:45pm.

 

Enter the museum at 99 Gansevoort Street.

There will be table set up in the lobby where you can check in.

Message from the Parents Association

 

Hello my Parents and Guardians of LoMA!!!

 

This is Ken your PA President just sending out a small reminder that next Thursday, there is a PA meeting.  We will be holding nominations for next year's executive board, as well as, updating you on some issues that were discussed at the last meeting.

 

If you are interested in being a board member, please submit your request to the PA board nomination committee and they will add you to the list for May's elections.  Parents of Seniors cannot apply.

 

Hope all is good with you and yours.  See you next Thursday @ 6pm.  As always, I am here at your service.

Este es Ken, su presidente de la Autoridad de Padres que acaba de enviar una pequeña nota de que el próximo jueves habrá una reunión de la Autoridad de Padres. Tendremos nominaciones para la Junta Ejecutiva del próximo año, así como también para informarles sobre algunos temas que se trataron en la última reunión.

 

Si está interesado en ser miembro de la junta, envíe su solicitud al comité de nominación de la junta de AP y ellos lo agregarán a la lista para las elecciones de mayo. Los padres de los Seniors no pueden aplicar.
