Site 1 (242 Broome Street)

Site 1 will be installing sewer connections beginning on Tuesday, April 12th and also drilling for additional piles. Excavation on Ludlow Street will occur to allow for the utility connection and will require a diversion of the pedestrian walkway. Flag persons will be placed on both ends of the walkway to direct pedestrians to the other side of the street. The 40" wide trench from the foundation wall to the middle of Ludlow will be steel plated during after work hours for protection. A pedestrian walkway will be set up daily for after work hours.  No after-hours work is anticipated.

Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)

Site 2 will continue at the cellar level with installation of pile caps, waterproofing, and structural slab installation.  Both of these activities will continue on Saturday, April 16th between the hours of 9am-5pm.  After-hours work may occur on Wednesday, April 13th thru Friday, April 15th depending on the size of concrete pours scheduled for those days.

Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)

Foundation and superstructure work continues at Site 5. Underslab plumbing and electrical installations continue along with concrete pours. Concrete pours are anticipated to take place on Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 14th in the early morning hours.

Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)

The coming week's activity at Site 6 includes erecting forms, installing rebar, and pouring concrete for the east half of the 1st floor slab. A pour on the east side of the 2nd floor is anticipated to take place on Wednesday, April 13th. Due to the size of the concrete pour next week, some finishing work may occur in the evening. Work is scheduled for Saturday,  April 16th from 9am to 5pm.

Suffolk Street work (between Delancey and Broome)

Drill work is anticipated to take place April 11th - 14th at various locations on Suffolk Street and the east and west sidewalks between Delancey and Broome Streets. Borings will be drilled on the sidewalk with sufficient clearance to safely allow pedestrian traffic to pass.  Cones and plastic bollards, as needed, will be used to divert traffic away from the sidewalk during the work.
