Raising children today is a lot different than it used to be! From digital media to school violence, there's a lot that parents need to stay on top of. The key is to provide parents with accurate advice on important topics based on the 21st century -- not based on the child-rearing practices of earlier generations.

That's where these new parenting resources come in. Our Count-the-Ways booklets deliver action-oriented information in a popular list format that makes reading a breeze. Plus, they provide common-sense advice on important topics that parents will relate and respond to! Take a look:

New! 9 Ways To Help Your Child Make Responsible Choices (EM24462)A
An easy-to-follow list format and straightforward guidance makes this a perfect resource for teaching parents about helping their children make responsible choices. Suggests that parents set clear expectations for their child, be good role models, encourage their child to set goals, and use loving discipline. It also urges parents to communicate regularly with their child, and to teach their child about handling peer pressure and conflict.

Features a count-the-ways list of action-oriented information!

New! 12 Ways To Manage Your Child's Screen Time (EM24184)A
From hand-held devices to televisions, there are lots of ways for kids to stay plugged in each day. This easy-reading publication uses a familiar list format to deliver tips on how parents can manage children's screen time to avoid the negative impact of excessive electronic media consumption. Guide suggests developing media usage rules and consequences for breaking them, setting time limits, offering media-free alternatives, and minimizing "background" media. It goes on to advise parents on helping their children choose age-appropriate media, using parental controls, encouraging responsible behavior, and much more.
